We’ve come to the end of another year, look at how time flies. I hope you had a wonderful time bringing in the new year.

Just a few years ago we were ending 1999 and scrambling to secure computers, websites and everything else electronic for Y2K.

Today is the first day of 2020 and we have yet to have a system crash, computer take over or anything else that has crippled the internet, interesting!

Actually, the internet has grown. You can now get your hands on information from anywhere in the world in just a few seconds and sometimes without clicking at all.

So, what’s in the pipeline for WP Handicraft? What new content are features are we planning to share?

Let’s start by bringing in the new year, January 1, 2020, with an additional website feature to help you stay up-to-date.

So, what’s the 1st new feature in the pipeline?

So, what's the 1st new feature in the pipeline?

It’s called “push notifications!”

We wanted to make it easier for you to be notified when we share content, so we’ve added “Push Notifications”.

Now, if you’ve never visited a website, most likely you were born on/before 1949. I’m just kidding 😇!

But 9-times-out-of-10 you’ve probably seen a push notification on your computer, phone or tablet and didn’t know what it was or why it’s popping up.

So, what are Push Notifications?

So, what are push notifications?

A push notification is a small message that pops up on your computer, tablet or phone when a website you’ve allowed shares now content.

This enables you to stay in the loop with your favorite site without having to visit the website or clog up your inbox and go through the trouble of unsubscribing from a list you didn’t request.

So, how can you get our push notifications?

So, how can you get our push notifications?

Subscribing is really easy. When you came to our website (WP Handicraft) a little message box popped that gave you the option to subscribe.

  • If you clicked “allow” when the message popped up you’re all set. You’ll receive a notification the next time we share some content.
  • If you clicked a blank area on the screen to make the box go away. Click the lock just to the left of the website address and change notifications to “allow”.
  • If you clicked “block” you’ll have to click the lock just to the left of the website address and change notifications from “blocked” to “allow”.

Can I still join the Weekly eClub Instead?

Can I still join the weekly eClub instead? The answer is yes!

Absolutely not, 😨! Let me stop playing before someone thinks I’m serious.

Why of course you can subscribe to the WP Handicraft Weekly eClub. Actually, the weekly eClub gives you more control of your inbox.

If you’re the person who doesn’t want a notification each time we share new content, let me be the first to encourage you to join our weekly eClub.

Are maybe while relaxing over the weekend you prefer to browse & read through what you’ve received during the week.

Either way, scroll down the page and just above the comments section you’ll see “Stay in Touch”. Enter your first name and email.

And the reason we ask for your first name is that we like to get to know our readers. We like talking to live people.

When it’s all said and done!

We wanted to let you know about a new feature and new category we’ve added to the website that helps you stay-in-the-loop as we share new content, promotions, videos & more.

Now you’re able to receive instant notifications directly to your device of choice (computer, tablet or phone) as-well-as the browser of your choice.

‘Til the next episode, don’t forget to share the love and leave us a comment below. We’d love to hear what you think.

Cheers!
